Prosperity of soul, healing, and freedom from condemnation

In 3 John 1:2 the apostle John begins this very personal letter with a heartfelt prayer for his friend, that he would prosperity in all things, but especially in his soul.

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

3 John 1:2

He opens up an important insight that “prosperity of soul” is vital for experiencing the blessings of God in all the other areas of our life, including healing and material forms of prosperity too.

Romans 8:1 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (NKJV) Why is it then that so many of us just can’t shake condemnation and brokenness instead of living in the freedom of that promise.

In this message, Chris takes us through what it means to experience God’s faithfulness to the promises in His Word as we walk according to the Spirit, letting go of sin and shame and instead receiving wholeness and prosperity “in all things”.
