The 3 P’s of God’s Kingdom are: the Principle of the Kingdom, the Practice of the Kingdom, and the Purpose of the Kingdom.

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit…”

Romans 14:17

The Principle of the Kingdom is Righteousness – Righteousness in action.

We are made righteous because of Jesus and His work on the cross.  However, we trust the Holy Spirit to teach us to live a righteous life – having a character and conduct that conforms to the will of God.

The Practice of the Kingdom is Peace – peaceful submission to the King.  God’s Kingdom operates differently from any earthly kingdom and operates with humility and surrender.

The Purpose of the Kingdom is Joy – the joy of intimate fellowship with God and restored relationship.  Jesus tells us in John 15 that as we remain in Him, stay close to Him, His joy will be in us and our joy will be complete.   Communion and relationship with the King produces joy.
