John 2:1-11 There are many great things about this story, and there is a lot of depth in it (the symbolism of wine, water, ceremonial jars, glory, etc), but I am going to touch on just a couple of the things I believe the Lord is wanting us to capture from it...
Psalm 65 says that God takes care of the earth and He waters it, making it rich and fertile. Wow! And if God does this for the earth…. How much more would he do for you and me, His children?
The Scribes and Pharisees saw holiness and righteousness as something they could attain by keeping the letter of the law, but Jesus is saying that He came to fulfil the law and by the Spirit, if we stay hungry and thirsty for more of God, then we will be filled up.

Today we honour mothers, not because they are any more important than anyone else here, but because God has given them a vital role in all our lives.
Jesus is building His Church across throughout the earth – He has been working on this, and is still working on this…. And we are His Church – YOU AND ME!
There are many "heroes of the faith" that are well known for the part they played in the Bible story and the history of God's people. But there are no "sidekicks" in God's kingdom.
God reveals Himself to us, in many ways and at many times, but He is most clearly revealed in the person of Jesus, conveyed to us through the Bible but also in his personal presence that is just as real today. Revelation is God's part, but do we respond (OUR part) in faith and trust in him?
Jesus promised "I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matt. 28:20). This has profound implications for us in our daily lives and how we live in light of His presence and power being always with us.
