Loving people in Jesus name does not mean compromising the gospel message - syncretism (blending of different religions) has no place in the church, but the gospel declares that Jesus Christ is the only way to God. The gospel requires that we take a risk in being able to love people but speak the true gospel of salvation through Jesus, not adding anything to the simple message of trusting in Jesus Christ.
God reveals Himself to us, in many ways and at many times, but He is most clearly revealed in the person of Jesus, conveyed to us through the Bible but also in his personal presence that is just as real today. Revelation is God's part, but do we respond (OUR part) in faith and trust in him?
