In our desire to follow Christ, are we "playing air guitar" or are we making real music? Discipleship means being trained by Jesus daily, with him as our guide.

There have been times in my life when I have felt “hidden”, but mostly didn’t see it as a good thing. On the other hand, the Bible refers to being "hidden in Christ" - the key to being able to keep our eyes on the unseen and eternal things that are hidden in God.

The apostle Paul draws a clear connection between what he calls the way of love and spiritual gifts used with maturity in the church. Hotly pursue both!

The phrase "“all the more as you see the Day approaching” (Heb. 10:25) reiterates Jesus' command to love and good deeds as the day of his return approaches.

The Nicene Creed states that for us and for our salvation he became man. Nowhere do we see the humanity of Jesus more clearly displayed than here in Bethlehem.

Pilgrimage is a journey in which we discover God's sustaining presence and power. We encounter Him along the way, but He is also the ultimate destination.

What does it mean to be a “father” in modern society, or in God’s family, the church? Ultimately, it is God who shows us how to be a father.
